The League of Women Voters of Oak Ridge is a non-partisan organization serving democracy by involving citizens in the democratic process, increasing voter participation, and providing information on candidates, issues, and elections.

The League works to bring about constructive change by:

  • registering voters and defending voting rights
  • informing citizens about their rights and responsibilities
  • informing the public through our in-depth issues analyses
  • sponsoring candidate debates and public issues forums
  • taking action through lobbying for change
